Terms of Service

The terms for using SERP DR: site pages, the badge, subscriptions, directory listings, refunds and prohibited content.

SERP DR (“us”, “we” or “our”) runs dr.serp.co (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

Domain Rating

Domain Rating (DR) is a metric by Ahrefs, and the DR on this site comes from Ahrefs. We don’t calculate DR and we can’t change it. A DR here is the value from when we last read it, so it can differ from what Ahrefs shows now. Ahrefs may change DR or stop providing it at any time, and we don’t guarantee that any DR is current or correct.

DR appears only on our pages and in our badge, each with Ahrefs’ attribution. When you embed the badge, keep its attribution link. Don’t copy DR from the Service in bulk or republish it as a data feed.

Site pages

Anyone can look up a site’s DR, which gives the site a page on the Service. A page from a lookup alone is temporary. A page is permanent while it has one of these:

We can also make any page permanent, and end any permanent page, at our discretion. We decide how a page links to its site, for example whether the link is followed, nofollow or sponsored, and we may change it at any time.

The badge

A free permanent page and a free directory listing need our DR badge on the site’s homepage, with a followed link to the site’s page on the Service. The link’s rel can’t include nofollow, sponsored or ugc, and the homepage can’t tell search engines not to follow its links.

We check for the badge from time to time. A check is a miss if the homepage answers with a client error (4xx), such as 403, 404 or 410. It is also a miss if it loads the homepage and the badge isn’t there, its link doesn’t lead to the site’s page on the Service or is marked nofollow, sponsored or ugc, the homepage tells search engines not to follow its links, or the homepage redirects to another site. A check never counts as a miss if it gets no answer or times out (including a 408), for example because the site is down, or if it gets a server error (5xx), is told to slow down (429), or hits a bot challenge.

After a miss on one of these checks, we email the site’s owner and our team, and check again about 24 hours later. If that check is a miss too, the free page goes back to temporary and the free listing is removed.

You can also ask us to check your badge, a limited number of times. A check you ask for that gets an error answer from the homepage, or no answer, doesn’t count toward that limit.

Subscriptions

A subscription is billed monthly or yearly, in advance, and renews until you cancel it. Its size sets how many domains it covers. While it is active, each domain it covers that you’ve verified keeps a permanent page without the badge.

You can cancel at any time from your account’s billing page. The subscription stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Then the pages it kept permanent go back to temporary, unless they have another basis, such as the badge. Subscription payments aren’t refunded.

A subscription pays for what the Service offers around the DR, such as permanent pages without the badge, not for DR data. No plan buys faster or more frequent DR updates.

Directory listings

Only directories can be listed. A listing is free with our badge (see The badge), or paid. Every listing is reviewed, and a free listing is published once we approve it.

A paid listing is a one-off payment. It is published as soon as the payment goes through and our automatic checks pass, and it stays subject to review. If we reject a paid listing, we refund the payment in full, unless we reject it for prohibited content. The badge is optional for paid listings. If a paid listing is refunded, it stays listed for free only if its badge passes.

Once you’ve paid, you can’t withdraw a listing yourself. Contact us, and we decide about removing it and about any refund.

Prohibited content

Sites that offer or contain the following can’t have pages or listings on the Service, and we remove any we find:

  • malware or phishing;
  • scams or fraud;
  • illegal goods or services;
  • intellectual property infringement, such as counterfeits or piracy;
  • hate or harassment;
  • impersonation;
  • spam, such as doorway pages or parked domains;
  • gambling, such as casinos, sports betting, slots, or lotteries like toto and togel;
  • escort services;
  • darknet markets;
  • pharmacy spam, such as sites selling Viagra, Cialis or Kamagra.

A listing rejected or removed for prohibited content is not refunded, and its website can’t be submitted again.

Changes

We may change the Service and these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies.
